As the 2nd weekend of Weapons destroyed the opening weekend of Nobody 2 (which is not off to a great start), James Gunn's Superman was officially released on VOD after initial rumors weeks ago reported on it (and were dismissed by many). Ultimately this release helps to confirm that the studio did not likely think the movie would make back the estimated -$50 million in current losses for the film (on the conservative side) during its theatrical run alone. As September begins to close, the Hollywood critics class tried to prop up the latest DiCaprio and Paul Thomas Anderson film One Battle After Another which reportedly tried to create empathy for Antifa terrorist groups and even features attacks on what are essentially ICE detainment centers...to say that Hollywood is out of touch with modern America and the majority of the movie going audience would be a vast understatement
